KPMG has developed an index to measure the stability of supply chains. Using market data and advanced analytics, the Stability Index gauges how well organizations are dealing with the ups and downs of volatility and informs operations to make better decisions for what lies ahead. So anything below the average should be considered a good expense ratio. But it’s important to keep these costs in perspective and realize that the difference between an expense ratio of 0.10 percent and 0.05 percent is just $5 per year for every $10,000 invested. We also investigated a measure of WPLI Stability (WPLIS) to generalize the WPLI measure, classifying periods of high or low stability/volatility. The purpose of using WPLIS was to account for the intra-subject and inter-trial specificity in the WPLI response. In the stable range, where a lower percentage of slab failures is better, the adjustment for ski penetration reduced the proportion of persistent slabs failed from 31 to 6%. Concept Drift: 8 Detection Methods

To visualize the PSI, we will create a prepare_data_for_plotting method that functions similarly to the population_stability_index. Instead of calculating the PSI, this method will populate two extra columns with the percentages of each bin. To format the information so that it’s easier for people to understand, we will multiply the percentage by 100. We group the data by bins, and the number of scores in each bin is counted for both datasets. The result is stored in two separate data frames, dev_group and val_group. To craft a model, you grab a handful of marbles (the development set).

What is the biggest challenge of investing?

Teams rely on changes in prediction and feature distributions as a proxy for performance changes. PSI was picked up by the finance industry as a key metric used to measure feature drift and is one of the more stable and useful drift metrics. Figure 3 is limited to the first two minutes (~25%) of the trial for the subject. The same subject’s WPLI response, when viewed across the whole time period as shown in Figure 4a. It’s time to build an Index over these objects so you can start querying them. Tracking model drift with PSI

Stock market returns have been above their historical averages over the past five- and 10-year periods and several new all-time highs have been reached in 2024. This may give investors pause about committing new money, but financial advisors say investing at all-time highs doesn’t lead to poor long-term returns. We use an independent dataset that is not used during the model training process—the validation dataset—to assess the performance of the model on unseen data to ensure that the model generalizes well to new instances.
