Five college football wide receivers primed for breakout seasons in 2024

With less than 70 days until the 2024-25 college football season kicks off, here are five wide receivers with the potential to have a breakout season. Texas WR Isaiah Bond Bond was one of the big fish in the transfer portal this offseason, and the Longhorns were able to reel him in from Alabama. Bond shared the spotlight with Jermaine Burton last season, accounting for 668 yards and four touchdowns.Best porn XXX. He will get to be WR No. 1 at Texas as the Longhorns look to replace star WRs Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell. Look for Bond to have a breakout season paired with QB Quinn Ewers. Lacy did this while sharing the ball with two first-round picks in WRs Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. Garrett Nussmeier will be under center, and he has proven his ability to get the ball to his playmakers. Expect big things in Baton Rouge for Lacy in his third year with the Tigers. Smith may just be that guy. While he had an underwhelming season last year with 153 yards and two touchdowns, Smith has made his name known in spring practice, and going into his senior season it is now or never. Bernard had a decent season last year, accounting for 419 yards and two touchdowns. The Crimson Tide lost two of their best receivers in Bond and Burton. Alabama will need to find a couple of explosive pass catchers for Heisman hopeful Jaylen Milroe to throw to, and Bernard may be just that. His athleticism and ball skills are at the very top of his position, and he will now be a part of a pass-heavy offense at Oregon with QB Dillon Gabriel. Stewart accounted for 514 yards and four touchdowns in 2023 at Texas A&M.
